All are tastefully decorated, full of character and equipped with everything you need for a carefree stay.

Televisions, videos, washing machines, fridges, dishwashers, full-size cookers and microwaves are all provided as are all linen and towels. Each cottage has central heating and two also have open fires.
 

Mallard Cottage has the benefit of a ground floor bedroom - a twin - which is suitable for disabled guests, and the whole of the ground floor has wheelchair access.

It's about three quarters of a mile to the village post office and shop in Bolton by Bowland, and there are some good local pubs serving a variety of food.

Springhead Holiday Cottages making a wonderful base for visiting the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, West Coast and many bustling market towns. We're 8 miles from Clitheroe and 9 miles from Skipton with its famous castle. This is excellent walking country as we are within the Forest of Bowland, and Dunsop Bridge, "the centre of the kingdom" just a few miles away. The Settle/Carlisle railway is close by, and there are a myriad of pretty villages to discover.
